Mark "Money Shot" Griffiths is something of an Old Scotch CC legend and certainly an enigmatic genius. That the man makes mountains of runs with minimal technique and the reliance on essentially two shots (square cut and square drive) defies all conventional thinking regarding what constitutes good batsmanship. Like Bradman, Griffo proves that home baked techniques can succeed in the big time as the Griff racks up the big scores on a consistent basis, showing up his younger teammates with his durability and ruthless efficiency. A man of very few words and even less facial expressions, no one truly knows what Griffo is thinking as he compiles his huge scores with the blank expression of a pre-rigor mortis corpse in the city morgue. Nobody knows where he came from...and nobody knows where is going to, but Mark "Money Shot" Griffiths is a run machine of the highest calibre as his numerous batting average awards attest to. There is nothing better on a summers day than watching the ruthlessly efficient Griffo craft yet another match winnings innings. Get around him!
